January 14, 2022, In Kyiv, the President of the International
Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens of SHIELD, Daher Saleh Muhamed, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Ukraine Jihad Eddine Belkas. The purpose of the visit is to open a branch of the International SHIELD Congress in Algiers. During the meeting, the Ambassador of Algeria got acquainted with the organization’s work at the local and international levels. We discussed the issues of establishing relations and cooperation in the economic, commercial, educational, and cultural fields and tourism, where His Excellency, the Ambassador, expressed his serious intention to cooperate and visit Odessa shortly.
The International Diplomatic Council (IDC) is the first of its kind in the world, originating from the organization of the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens SHIELD. Through diplomacy, it contributes to the strengthening of international relations and the creation of a common basis for humanitarian consultations at various parliamentary, economic, political, cultural, scientific, and development levels, the spread of a culture of peace diplomacy, and the training of specialists in the field of international relations.
Our mission is to become a catalyst for unprecedented human unity, progress, and self-realization. We raise our voices for humanity, common sense, and wisdom. Most importantly, we believe that diplomacy provides a solid foundation for international understanding.
The role of the Diplomatic Council is to promote diplomatic contacts and international relations at a high level, to study relations between states at the global level, as well as between states and organizations such as: the United Nations, the European Commission, the Security Organization. Relations between states are reflected in international trade, economic prosperity, migration, the global environment, transnational organized crime, war, global peace, and security, leading to tangible results at the international and national levels.
The Union pays special attention to international law, diplomatic relations and international organizations, constitutional law and political systems, the law of the resolution of armed conflicts, international law, and international treaties, which aims to train academically and professionally specialized personnel in the field of international law, international relations and diplomacy, capable of fulfilling their duties in councils and parliaments, ministries, embassies, and international governmental and non-governmental organizations.
The Union aims to increase the efficiency of employees and those wishing to work in the political and diplomatic corps.
Qualified academically and professionally specialized personnel in the field of international law and diplomatic relations.
To promote a better knowledge of international law as a means of strengthening international peace and security, developing friendly relations and cooperation between states.
The most basic rule of diplomatic law is that the person of a diplomatic representative is inviolable.
On September 5, 2019, at the address Odessa, Primorsky Boulevard, 11, Londonskaya Hotel, an international conference was held on the topic: “The situation of refugees, immigrants and stateless persons in the world. Ways to solve this problem”.
The initiator of this conference was Daher Saleh Muhamed – President of the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “SHIELD.”
Representatives of state bodies, diplomats, representatives of different countries, representatives of international organizations, and human rights activists participated in the international conference.
Questions were considered:
1. The current situation of refugees and stateless persons in the world.
2. Views, opinions, and proposals for solving this problem.
3. Preparation and adoption of a decision by an international conference on this situation.
The purpose of the international conference was to stop the spread of refugees, immigrants, and stateless people in the world, which has reached the number of almost 80,000,000 people, which is a dangerous number, to develop and find a way out of the situation of refugees, immigrants, and stateless people.
Honored Dr. Saleh Muhamed Daher, The president of the NGO “International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens – SHIELD” after he passed an online training course at the United States Institute of Peace He obtained the certificate of completing the online, self-paced course on the topic: Introduction to Peacebuilding on 05/25/2021.
Where the themes revolved around Explore an overview of the peacebuilding field and introducing the skills needed to succeed in it; guided through an exploration of USIP’s 30+ years of experience engaging with local partners in conflict zones around the world, learners are exposed to a set of key theories, skills, and approaches to building peace and to real-world examples that exemplify the complexity of peacebuilding.

Today, each of us is worried about the indisputable fact that the world community is struck by a deep economic and political crisis, the confrontation between different countries, which leads to local wars that bring death and destruction. Of particular concern is the increase in poverty, environmental degradation, and the sudden appearance of the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, the leaders of the leading powers’ attempts to improve the situation have not yet yielded the desired result.
What is the reason? There are many of them, but the main one, in my opinion, is the surrender to oblivion, up to a loss, of humanity, which suggests that the primary purpose of a person, as the only living being with the gift of thinking and speech, is to do good and resist evil. The dignity of any state, regardless of its location, nationality, religion, ultimately depends on the degree of philanthropy of its constituent individuals. And suppose a state loses deep faith in the dignity of man, his high purpose on Earth. In that case, it does not have any support for Man, as such, in the complete sense of the word, for to be human means to show humanity, to feel a responsibility not only for yourself, for your actions and deeds, but also for those who are nearby, for the country, for peace in the whole world, always remembering that the future of our suffering the planet is in the unity of peoples, and not in inciting enmity between them based on anti-humanity, which brings a lot of evil, grief, resentment, pain, anxiety, and concern. And to remember constantly that the primary causes of justice were considered from ancient times: not to harm anyone and benefit society. All problems related to the survival of humanity must be resolved to take into account the fundamental human values from the UN, the governments of individual states, and ending with each family.
Every day I learn from the press, radio, and television about the sorrows and sufferings of peaceful people in various parts of the world; with pain in my soul and with faith injustice, I urge: people, be human!

The International Organization “Shield” constantly fights for children’s rights and organizes holidays, sports events, and much more. Children are the most valuable thing we have, so it is essential to care for them and improve their lives.
Today, June 1, 2021, the International Shield Congress, represented by the organization’s president, Daher Saleh Mohamed, organized a holiday dedicated to International Children’s Day. The organization “Shield” congratulated children of different ages and nationalities who currently need it most. The event was opened and blessed by the rector, the mitered archpriest, the chief chaplain of the Southern direction, Father Vasily. Also took part: Assistant to the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Yuri Nikolaevich Shibanov, Chairman of the Public National and Cultural Autonomy of Afghan Diasporas “Justice,” Chairman of the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, representative of “10 April”, Chief Ataman of the Southern Operational Cossack District, General Coordinator Euro-Arab Youth Solidarity-Ukraine, representative of the Friendship Foundation. A concert program was organized: they sang, danced, and entertainment program with animators, played games. Children ate sweets, cotton candy, ice cream, and drinks throughout the holiday. “Children are our future! To see happiness in their eyes is priceless! “

On May 27, 2021, the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “SHIELD” visited the “Hands of Matusi” organization. As part of their humanitarian mission, they provided charitable assistance by delivering food packages to support those in need. This gesture reflects SHIELD’s commitment to fostering solidarity and addressing pressing social needs, particularly during challenging times.
