In early June, the leadership of the Volyn temporary residence center for foreigners and stateless persons illegally staying on the territory of Ukraine, represented by its director Valery Nikolayevich Demchuk, turned to the Assalam International Charitable Foundation with a written request to provide charitable assistance.
On July 22, 2013, President of the Assalam International Charitable Foundation and the International Committee for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “Shield” Dager Saleh Muhamed visited the Volyn, a temporary residence center for foreigners stateless persons. People from Arab countries, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and other countries live there. Some live alone, but there are whole families. For the effective organization of leisure, improving the living conditions of these people who are in a crisis in states of long-term retention, taking into account religious, national characteristics, and country of origin, the leadership of the Assalam Foundation, decided to provide charitable assistance to the Volyn PVPI and the people who live there. A multimedia projector and screen, footballs and basketballs, table tennis sets, books, and textbooks were donated to carry out educational activities among illegal migrants. They also donated clothes, hats, personal hygiene items, and food. Food products were purchased separately for the citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On June 6 of each year, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Journalists. A large celebration was held in the Syndicate of Journalists, attended by many prominent figures in the state, media, television, and press in Ukraine, as representatives of international organizations and bodies. The Ekaterina International Academy of Arts in Ukraine took advantage of the event to honor eminent personalities on this significant occasion.

On December 27, 2016, the New Year was celebrated for refugee children who live on the territory of the Refugee Temporary Residence Center in Odessa. The main organizers of the holiday were the Main Directorate of the Migration Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region and the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “Shield”. The celebration was attended by representatives of the Migration Service of Ukraine from Kyiv, the Head of the Main Directorate of the Migration Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region Pogrebnyak Elena Gennadievna, President of the International Organization “Shield” Daher Saleh Muhamed, Vice-President of the organization “SHIELD” Matyakin Alexander Georgievich, adviser on work with Arab countries Alhamud Hamud, editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Migration” Suprunovsky Ivan Petrovich, as well as the leadership of the Refugee Temporary Residence Center in Odessa. A holiday was organized for children with many gifts and sweets. Many photographs were taken. A smile shone on everyone’s face that day. The international organization “Shield” organized International Children’s Day for displaced and refugee children.
Children are the most valuable thing we have, so it is essential to care for them and improve their lives. Today, June 1, 2016, on International Children’s Day, the International Organization “Shield” congratulated the children who currently need it most: refugee and displaced children. When a child experiences many problems in his still short life, this leaves a significant reflection on his character. Children are primarily in need of support and protection. The celebration was attended by representatives of the Migration Service of Ukraine, the National Union of Journalists and Writers, psychologists, human rights activists, and medical workers.
During a fun holiday, about 200 children of different ages, religions, and interests became one big friendly family. They played with clowns and launched soap bubbles and balloons. Children were treated to sweets, ice cream, and drinks throughout the holiday.
The international organization “Shield” constantly fights for children’s rights and organizes holidays, sports events, etc. According to the organization’s president, Professor Daher Saleh Muhamed, “Children are our future! Seeing happiness in their eyes is priceless!”
On May 21, 2019, a gala dinner – iftar was held in Kyiv. The Ukrainian-Arab Business Council awarded Daher Saleh Muhamed, President of the organization of the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens, “Shield,” with gratitude for a significant personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Arab interstate, business, cultural, religious, and scientific relations.
On August 28, 2018, in the city of Odesa, southern Ukraine, following the annual Ukrainian festival “Ukrainian is the only language” organized by the Journalists Syndicate in Ukraine and the presence of representatives of the state, dignitaries from various cities of Ukraine and international personalities, the President of the International Congress “Shield,” Dr. Saleh Daher, received an award The International Luca Pacioli necklace, for its significant contribution to the improvement and development of the economy and the introduction of effective and innovative mechanisms.
