On December 25, 2013, the children’s holiday “New Year’s extravaganza” took place in the recreation center “Polytech.” The holiday organizers were: the Assalam International Charitable Foundation and the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “Shield,” together with the Odesa regional organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. Disabled children, orphans from boarding schools and shelters, refugee children, and children from mixed and low-income families were invited to the holiday.
The following came to congratulate the children: President of the International Charitable Foundation “Assalam” and the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “Shield” Dager Saleh Mukhamed, Head of the Odessa Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine Yury Anatolievich Rabotin, representative of the Governor of the Odessa Region, Head of the NGO “Ukraine – Chinese Community” Jia Guoping, Representative of the Public Organization “Odessa Regional Center for International Legal Protection of Citizens of Ukraine, Foreigners and Stateless Persons named after Khoshal Khan Khatak” Khatak Eftekhar Ahmad, Head of the Board of the Public Organization “Social Legal Assistance” Family and Youth Affairs” Aleksey Yatsilenko, Head of the Victoria Judo Association Alexander Matyakin, Director of the Public Formation for the Protection of Public Order and the State Border “Special Detachment” Center “Pantyukhin Alexander Vasilyevich, Sergey Pomazan, representative of the Georgian Cultural Center “Iveria” Jina Minjoraya, a representative of the Vietnamese community Chan Hung Doan, representatives of the Korean, Chinese, Syrian communities, a representative of the State Migration Service, the Modlava Association, the Young Disabled Charitable Foundation. Dager Saleh Mukhamed was presented with a Letter of Gratitude from the Head of the Board of the Public Organization “Social Legal Assistance” Boshtan Vladimir Dmitrievich, and a letter from the Children’s and Youth Center “Promin.”
A concert program was organized for the kids, where vocal and choreographic numbers from the Odesa Center for Children and Youth Center “Promin” were presented; the final part was the performance of the x-factor finalists: Dmitry Sysoev, Evgeny Shpachenko, Daniil Ruvinsky, Ivan Safarov and a participant in the show “Ukraine I have talent” by Yulia Kuvshinova. It should also be noted that the Assalam International Charitable Foundation provided transport to bring and take the children. Pantyukhin Alexander Vasilievich provided security for a holiday.
Everyone who took an active part and assisted in the preparation of the holiday, namely: the Head of the NGO “Ukraine – Chinese Community” Jia Guoping, the director of CJSC “Odessakonditer” Mashtakova A.E., Chan Hung Doan, Ali Issa, Ali Katraui, Chiu Chun, Karkhanov Gela Vikentvich, director of LLC JV “Vitmark – Ukraine” Stanislavsky V.G., director of LLC “Roshen De Luxe” Golinsky A.L., Head of the All-Ukrainian National-Cultural Moldavian Association Fetescu A.S., Head of the Odesa Georgian National-Cultural Society ” Sakartvelo,” the director of the Center for Children and Youth Creativity “Promin,” the director of “Feruz-cafe” Fateh Iyad were thanked.
Not a single child left empty-handed, having received a symbol of the New Year as a gift – a toy and sweets, Georgian, Moldovan, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Syrian cuisine, they were treated to dishes and sweets. The kids were happy, smiling, having fun, and got a lot of positive emotions and impressions.
