On January 4, 2022, a meeting was held with the Director General of the Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova – Stelian Manic, who reports directly to the Prime Minister. The meeting was attended by Yakim Valeriy, Deputy Ambassador and Head of the IOED Regional Office for Moldova, Cyprus, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and Belarus, and Denis Vladimirovich Kartashov.
At the meetings, a number of issues were discussed on attracting investments and preparing the visit of the delegation of the Arab Union for Investment and Real Estate Development of the Economic Unity Council of the League of Arab States.

March 29, 2017, in Odessa, st. Kanatnaya, 83, a solemn event dedicated to the “INDEPENDENCE DAY OF TUNISIA,” occurred. Representatives of various diasporas and minorities, public and political figures, representatives of the media, and many others took part. The organizers were: the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “Shield” and the Tunisian Diaspora in Odessa.
During the event, the following speakers spoke: President of the International Organization “Shield” – Professor Daher Saleh Muhamed, representative of the Tunisian diaspora in Odesa – Dr. Tarek Aloui, Vice-President of the Organization “Shield” – Matyakin Alexander Georgievich, Editor-in-chief of the information portal UKRAINE PO-ARABSKI – others Mohammad Farjallah, head of the ORO of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine – Yuriy Anatolyevich Rabotin, the authorized representative of the Palestinian Diaspora in the city of Odesa – Dr. Hussein Walid, as well as the chairman of the board of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Diaspora of the Chechen People” – Salman Ayubovich Yadav.
At the end of the event, guests were treated to a buffet table with traditional dishes of the national cuisine of Tunisia.

Egypt, in the city of Cairo on November 07, 2018, at the headquarters of the Arab League, Mr. Ahmed Salem Al Sudin, the head of the Arab Union for Investment and Real Estate Development, presented the President of the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “SHIELD” Daher Saleh Mohamed with a cup and a certificate – gratitude from Arab Union of Investment and Real Estate Development, for the development of international relations between Ukraine and the Arab countries: cultural, social, economic and humanitarian areas.

Honorary guests took part in the meeting of the Council: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Bodnar, Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Serhiy Grinevetsky, Chairman of the Odesa Regional Council Grigory Didenko, representatives of the diplomatic corps and national cultural organizations.
Mayor Gennady Trukhanov Noted that interculturality is the basis of the mentality of the region’s inhabitants and drew an analogy between the Odessa association and the UN international organization: both organizations have common goals and promote the same values ??- peace, security, development of cooperation between peoples and states.
One of the priority tasks of the Council is to promote the improvement of the ethnonational and ethnopolitical situation. An extended meeting of the Council, with acquaintances and exchange of contacts, is designed to stimulate further cooperation and resolve problematic issues, bringing even more positive results for the development of Odesa and Ukraine.
“Together, we provide conditions for the development of the diaspora, the realization of the rights and freedoms of their representatives. As well as contributing to the development of languages ??of different nationalities, and, of course, the study of the state language,” Gennady Trukhanov noted.
I welcome the participants of the meeting; Deputy Foreign Minister Vasily Bodnar emphasized that Odesa is an example of tolerance for the whole of Ukraine and noted the importance of uniting in the formation of Ukrainian legislation and international relations. So, at the moment, the committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is preparing a bill on national minorities. The recommendations of the “Odesa Association of Nationalities” will be helpful to the working group.
