On February 3, 2017, the President of the International Organization “Shield,” Professor Daher Saleh Muhamed, with the Vice-President of the organization, Matyakin Alexander Georgievich, the representative of the organization in the city of Kyiv, the President of the Egyptian Diaspora in Ukraine, Dr. Walid Attia, as well as the Deputy President of the organization visited the Egyptian Embassy in Ukraine.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt to Ukraine, Hossam Eldin M. Ali, warmly and friendly met the representatives of the organizations.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation was discussed. The parties noted the importance of further deepening Ukrainian-Egyptian relations, particularly human rights protection.
In early June, the leadership of the Volyn temporary residence center for foreigners and stateless persons illegally staying on the territory of Ukraine, represented by its director Valery Nikolayevich Demchuk, turned to the Assalam International Charitable Foundation with a written request to provide charitable assistance.
On July 22, 2013, President of the Assalam International Charitable Foundation and the International Committee for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “Shield” Dager Saleh Muhamed visited the Volyn, a temporary residence center for foreigners stateless persons. People from Arab countries, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and other countries live there. Some live alone, but there are whole families. For the effective organization of leisure, improving the living conditions of these people who are in a crisis in states of long-term retention, taking into account religious, national characteristics, and country of origin, the leadership of the Assalam Foundation, decided to provide charitable assistance to the Volyn PVPI and the people who live there. A multimedia projector and screen, footballs and basketballs, table tennis sets, books, and textbooks were donated to carry out educational activities among illegal migrants. They also donated clothes, hats, personal hygiene items, and food. Food products were purchased separately for the citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On December 27, 2016, the New Year was celebrated for refugee children who live on the territory of the Refugee Temporary Residence Center in Odessa. The main organizers of the holiday were the Main Directorate of the Migration Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region and the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens “Shield”. The celebration was attended by representatives of the Migration Service of Ukraine from Kyiv, the Head of the Main Directorate of the Migration Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region Pogrebnyak Elena Gennadievna, President of the International Organization “Shield” Daher Saleh Muhamed, Vice-President of the organization “SHIELD” Matyakin Alexander Georgievich, adviser on work with Arab countries Alhamud Hamud, editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Migration” Suprunovsky Ivan Petrovich, as well as the leadership of the Refugee Temporary Residence Center in Odessa. July 12, 2016, in the office of the International Organization “Shield,” the leadership of the Military Medical Clinical Centre of South region, the colonel of medical service Kalchuk R.D., awarded the President of the International organisation “Shield”, Professor Daher Saleh Muhamed with the Certificate of Merit, for the charitable aid that assists in the improvement of the medical diagnostic base of the Military medical clinical Centre.
