We at the International Shield Organization condemn in the strongest terms the deliberate and blatant attack carried out by a criminal group of settlers under the watchful eye of the Israeli occupation authorities on the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in occupied Jerusalem.
We call on the international community to condemn such criminal hostilities against international humanitarian organizations and their workers, and we affirm our full support for the work of UNRWA in the occupied Palestinian territories.
UNRWA:
UNRWA is an organization established by the United Nations to provide relief to Palestinian refugees who have been suffering from the scourge of war since 1949. This organization provides humanitarian and development services to all Palestinian refugees. It works to provide support, protection, and gain support for approximately 5.6 million Palestinian refugees registered with it in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip until a solution to their suffering is found.
