As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen humanitarian action and meet the basic needs of underserved communities, the International Congress for Protecting the Rights and Freedom of Citizens (SHIELD), known in short as the International Congress SHIELD, implemented a vital clean drinking water project in Dia Bagh Village, Bihar State, northeast India. The initiative was carried out in cooperation with Abar Technical Contracting Company, based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Project 35020 reflects a shared vision to improve the quality of life in rural areas that lack essential infrastructure, particularly access to clean and safe water, recognized as a fundamental human right.
This project represents a concrete step toward empowering rural communities and achieving one of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 6): ensuring access to water and sanitation for all.
Recognition and Appreciation
In recognition of its effective role in executing the project, the International Congress SHIELD received a certificate of appreciation from Abar Technical Company — a gesture that highlights the strength of this partnership and reinforces shared humanitarian values.
