On August 1, 2025, the International Congress for the Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens – SHIELD (Palestine Commission) organized a humanitarian relief activity at one of the displacement shelters in the Gaza Strip, targeting over 500 displaced families from the northern and eastern areas of the region.
This initiative is part of the organization’s Rapid Humanitarian Response Program for Emergencies and Disasters, which aims to support affected populations and provide urgent assistance amid the exceptional circumstances facing Gaza.
The activity included the distribution of essential relief supplies, including food and basic necessities, to help alleviate the suffering of displaced families and support them in coping with their current living conditions.
The International Congress SHIELD reaffirmed its commitment to continuing support for displaced civilians and working in cooperation with local and international organizations to ensure their basic needs are met. The organization also renewed its call on the international community to assume its humanitarian and moral responsibilities toward the civilian population in Gaza.
