As part of its continuous efforts to support scientific research and strengthen academic cooperation across borders, the Romanian city of Arad witnessed an important diplomatic and educational event, where the International Congress SHIELD signed a strategic international partnership and cooperation agreement with the Romanian state university “Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad” (UAV).
High-Level Official Visit and Mutual Recognition
The agreement was signed during an official high-level visit by the Commissioner of the International Congress SHIELD in the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Fyodor Kilish, to the university headquarters in Romania. He and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by the University Rector, Dr. Ramona Lile, along with several academic leaders.
The meeting included extensive discussions on ways to activate joint cooperation, as well as the exchange of commemorative shields and certificates of appreciation in recognition of the shared humanitarian and educational efforts. The occasion was reflected in commemorative photographs bringing together Mr. Kilish and Dr. Ramona Lile.
Dimensions and Strategic Goals of the Agreement
This agreement represents an extension of the long series of international partnerships and agreements led by International Congress SHIELD with major universities and governmental institutes around the world.

“Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad” is considered one of the most prominent multidisciplinary public universities in Romania and the European Union.

Scientific and Engineering Sector
This includes the Faculty of Engineering with its various specializations such as automotive engineering and mechatronics, the Faculty of Food Engineering, Tourism and Environmental Protection, in addition to the Faculty of Exact Sciences, which includes mathematics and computer science.
Humanitarian and Educational Sector
This sector includes the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology and Social Work, in addition to the Faculty of Theology.

Represented by the Faculty of Economic Sciences, the Faculty of Design, and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports.
The importance of this partnership lies in the fact that the university adopts the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) across all bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, granting its degrees full international recognition and opening broad opportunities for the organization and its beneficiaries to integrate into the European educational system.
The signing ceremony concluded with both parties emphasizing that this agreement is not merely a diplomatic protocol, but a practical step toward building strong bridges of knowledge that serve humanity and support future generations.
