We at the Organization International Shield closely monitor the successive and dangerous deterioration of events regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
We affirm that the international community’s silence and the failure to implement the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council over the course of 73 years led to the deterioration of the expected violent events between Palestinians and Israelis.
We have been amazed and astonished for nearly a while now
This conflict has been going on for 73 years and is still unresolved to this day
Despite the volume of civilian deaths, widespread destruction, arbitrary detention, successive displacement, increasing asylum and deprivation, and all these international negotiations and conferences and the repeated demands for a just peace and appeals
This issue remains unresolved until now.
We are witnessing the bombing of densely populated civilian neighborhoods, places of worship, and schools and the cutting off water and electricity.
The blockade, the policy of collective punishment, lack of accountability, impunity, and other violations of international norms and human rights amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.
We at the Global Shield Organization condemn and denounce the international community’s silence and its failure to assume its humanitarian and moral responsibility to end this conflict throughout these years.
We reject the policy of collective punishment, rhetoric, and double standards, as this type has deteriorated events.
We call on all countries to implement and respect international resolutions and to oblige the parties to act on their contents with all dedication and seriousness. The only way to resolve the conflict is through a just agreement that ends the occupation and preserves human dignity, which ends all demands and achieves the aspirations of both parties.
The failure to implement international resolutions issued by the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council and the failure to respect and adhere to international legitimacy resolutions led to this humanitarian catastrophe that we are witnessing today.
Therefore, it is necessary for all international and regional efforts to focus at present on stopping the escalation and violence, the policy of collective punishment in violation of international humanitarian law, and exercising the utmost levels of restraint to prevent the loss of more lives and the security situation from getting out of control.
