International Congress SHIELD and the International Diplomatic Council present an event bringing together diplomacy, human rights, media, and civil society to address global challenges and strengthen opportunities for cooperation
The Belgian capital, Brussels, is preparing to host the Brussels International Forum 2026 on October 5–6, bringing together prominent figures and representatives of diplomatic, human rights, media, academic, religious, and civil society institutions and organizations. The forum will provide a platform for dialogue, the exchange of expertise, and the presentation of perspectives on a range of current international and humanitarian issues.
The forum is organized by International Congress SHIELD, in cooperation with the International Diplomatic Council, as part of a vision aimed at strengthening communication among participating institutions and individuals, creating opportunities for networking and the exchange of experiences, and opening new avenues for cooperation and partnership in the fields of human rights, peace, development, and international relations.
The importance of the forum lies in the diversity of its participants and the range of topics under discussion. Its sessions will address a number of issues directly connected to the challenges facing societies and states, including global economic crises and poverty, freedom of expression and media disinformation, diplomacy and conflict resolution, the economics of war, climate and environmental justice, sustainable development, and peaceful coexistence among peoples and cultures.
