Justice without dignity is merely a collection of rigid texts, while dignity without justice becomes a vulnerable and violated right.
Human and cultural diversity is a source of richness and strength for societies. True equality does not mean eliminating differences among people; rather, it means ensuring equal opportunities and protecting rights within the framework of diversity. When legal and social systems uphold the principle of equality, diversity becomes a positive force that promotes growth, stability, coexistence, mutual understanding, and respect among all members of society.
As part of its humanitarian and human rights mission, the International Congress SHIELD is committed to promoting these principles through raising awareness of human rights, enhancing public understanding of rights, responsibilities, and international conventions, monitoring and documenting violations affecting fundamental rights and freedoms, and providing advocacy and support for individuals and communities most vulnerable to marginalization and abuse.
Protecting rights and freedoms is not merely a slogan; it is a daily practice that begins with recognizing the right of others to live in dignity and respecting their humanity without discrimination or exclusion.
