At a time when the world is witnessing escalating conflicts, ongoing wars, and growing challenges that threaten global stability and the principles of international law, International Congress SHIELD, in cooperation with the International Diplomatic Council, is preparing to launch its flagship annual event, the “Brussels 2026 Forum – Bridges for Dialogue and Cooperation,” which will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 22 September 2026.
The forum aims, at this critical moment, to intensify efforts to protect human rights, safeguard fundamental freedoms, and build strong bridges of dialogue, understanding, and cooperation. It seeks to promote the values of peace, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence, while encouraging constructive engagement and rejecting violence among different peoples and cultures.
This high-level international event enjoys broad international support and participation, bringing together distinguished diplomats, academics, religious leaders, international experts, representatives of international organizations and civil society institutions, as well as prominent media and human rights figures and representatives of the organization from around the world.
The forum serves as a dynamic platform for developing shared global perspectives that promote peace, strengthen international understanding, and contribute to addressing the challenges and crises facing the world today. It also reflects a collective commitment to fostering dialogue, cooperation, and common human values in pursuit of a more peaceful, stable, and inclusive future for all.
